Canal House Station is a James Beard Foundation award-nominated restaurant and Private Events space tucked into an elegantly restored 1870s train station on the banks of the Delaware River in Milford, NJ. Our eclectic, modern American cuisine is inspired by local ingredients that are ripe and in season in Hunterdon County, NJ and in Bucks County, PA.

Our building features multiple natural light-filled rooms—the Molo Room, an intimate dining space featuring a folded paper clouds-like chandelier; the Main Dining Room with its cathedral ceiling and beautiful arched windows; and the Freight Room, with its wood-burning stove and full view of the gleaming open kitchen, set with two long farmhouse tables. The shaded porch and charming open-air garden with its apple tree, potted fig trees, trellises of roses and clematis, and planters of culinary herbs offer guests a reception area and/or out-door dining (weather permitting).
